The opposition has rummaged by the minutes of meeting of the National Social Security Council to check if there is a report of any complaint during the Jair Bolsonaro government (PL), as there was under the Lula Government (PT) in June 2023.
A group advisor at CPMI (Mixed Parliamentary Commission of Inquiry) states that nothing has been found so far. At this rate, he says, the idea is to try to paste in the former Minister of Social Security () the silent pecha.
A in June 2023 indicates that the representative of Sindnapi (National Union of Retirees, Pensioners and Elderly), Tonia Galleti, asked for a discussion about the agreements of entities that had a monthly discount with the INSS.
It has requested the number of entities, the associate’s growth curve in the last 12 months, and a regulatory proposal that would bring greater security to workers, the INSS and the control bodies.
According to the document, the minister had recorded that the union’s request was relevant, but that there would be no condition to immediately do it, “as it would be necessary to conduct a more accurate survey.”
At the time, Lupi requested that the theme be based as the first item of the next meeting. However, the issue was not discussed and only entered the board’s agenda in April last year.
Asked about the case in April, Lupi stated that the INSS performed an audit to investigate reports of irregular discounts. Throughout this work, he said, the institute’s director of benefits was dismissed “so that we could have a diagnosis and take appropriate action.”
Galleti is the target of four invitation or call requirements at CPMI – from them presented by pockets. The requests have not yet been evaluated.
