The Florestal Horto will be the stage, between September 10 and 14, one of the most anticipated events in the Acre Cultural Calendar: Acre Moda Revolution. With free admission and intense programming from 9am to 4pm, the festival invites the public to experience creative experiences that unite fashion, sustainability and conscious consumption.

The initiative, directed by Luza Majacunde and coordinated by Denise Arruda, has funding from the PNAB Incentive Law, in partnership with the Elias Mansour Culture Foundation, Acre Government, Federal Government and Ministry of Culture. The event seeks to value manual work and show how fashion can be a tool for personal and environmental transformation.
For five days, visitors will be able to participate in practical workshops aimed at all ages, from 12 years. Among the highlights are the customization of clothing through upcycling, repair workshops and basic repairs, the “My Zero Clothing” experience, which allows you to create and wear an exclusive piece, as well as fashion sketch activities and the traditional trading space for clothes & bazaar.
The festival will also feature booths dedicated to creative techniques such as drawing and painting in fabrics, patchwork, bows and turbans, as well as the making of sustainable ecobags. Schools in the region of Horto Florestal will have special participation in the experience “My school is ecocriative”, encouraging adolescents to reflect on sustainability in a practical and fun way.
