The actor and comedian Leandro Hassum, 51, opened his heart during the painting “You may ask?”, “Fantastic”, on Sunday (31), and said that even after eleven years of his bariatric surgery, he still feels 160kg.
“At first there was a very big revulsion. I thought that when I lost weight I was going to stop bullying. Cyber bullying started after I lost weight,” he started during the interview.
“I received assaults even asking, ‘Are you with HIV?’ ‘To keep this HIV face I won’t expect it.’ ‘He lost weight, lost his grace.’ ‘He lost weight, aged, it’s over’ ‘destroyed a career,'” said the comedian.
“Producers who had called me to [atuar em] Movie had taken me out of the movie because they said: ‘Now you lost weight? Forget it, ‘”he said.
Hassum also said that he sought a psychiatrist to treat himself and understand the new body. But that, despite this, still see itself as in the old days. “I look in the mirror and still see myself with 160kg, even 11 years after operating.”
Leandro Hassum underwent a bariatric surgery in November 2014, leading to the loss of about 65 kg – his scale was approximately 150kg to about 85kg shortly after the procedure.
During the pandemic, the actor recovered up to 25kg, but then returned to the regulated feeding routine and exercises,
