The governor of Mato Grosso, (Union), 61, suffered an accident on Sunday (31.2025) during a technical survey in the works of Parque Novo Mato Grosso, about 20 km from the capital Cuiabá.
According to Secom-MT (State Secretariat of Communication), the governor and underwent examinations. It is under observation at Santa Casa State Hospital in Cuiabá.

Park Novo Mato Grosso

The project was announced in 2021, with initial forecast of completion in two years. The works remain in progress in Cuiabá.
