Zurich – Food giant Nestlé fired its CEO Laurent Freixe after a violation of the code of conduct. Philipp Navratil was appointed his successor, the Swiss company said on Monday. Freix’s departure was followed by an investigation with a relationship that is not open in the corporate hierarchy, which was conducted by the President of the Board of Directors, Paul Bulcke, and his designated successor Pablo Isla.
