A man was found dead inside a cold chamber on Sunday morning (31) in Fraiburgo, midwest of Santa Catarina.
According to the Military Fire Department, the victim worked as an equipment operator and was located in a confined space, about four meters from the access door.
He was on a left -back decubitus just below the chamber’s evaporators.
When the teams arrived, the man already showed signs of death, such as algor and rigor mortis, and there was no evidence of visible injuries.
The cold chamber has a rarefied atmosphere and controlled temperature, which may have contributed to death.
The body was removed from the scene and delivered to the Scientific Police, responsible for the steps. The occurrence was also supported by the Military Police.
