Vienna – The future of Austrian film funding was the largest problem child of domestic cultural policy after budget -related radical measures. With (today’s) September 1st, at least the FISA+ sponsor of the Ministry of Economic Affairs is put on new legs. According to the broadcast, 80 million euros are available this year. So far, the funds were uncovered. Since 2023, 193 projects with a total of 180 million euros had been funded.
