French actor Gérard Depardieu will be tried by the Paris Criminal Court for crimes of violation and sexual assault against actress Charlotte Arnould.
Citing sources linked to the case, the news agency France-Press writes that this new process concerns a complaint filed in 2018 by actress Charlotte Arnould about sexual violations and aggression, which the actor denies.
According to the 29 -year -old actress’s lawyer, the facts took place on August 7 and 13, 2018, at the actor’s house in Paris, and a complaint was filed this year, although the investigation only started in 2020.
In the Instagram social network, Chalotte Arnould expressed being “relieved” by the decision to send the trial process.
