The request is known as a compulsory quota – a mechanism by which a military man can move to the army reserve and receive as a value proportional to the length of service.

Mauro Cid is 29 years old and 6 months of services provided by the army. He would have the right to leave the service active, with all the benefits, only after 31 years of work. In practice, however, a salary reduction in the reserve would be small.

The request for compulsory quota, however, is not automatic. An Army Commission will analyze all Cid -handed documentation – which includes its military history and the reasons for the request – and will suggest to the Army a decision for the case.

An interlocutor from Mauro Cid told the Sheetunder reserve, that the military came into contact with members of the Army Command in an attempt to ensure acceptance of the compulsory quota. The army, however, denies conversations in this regard.

Lieutenant Colonel Mauro Cid is accused by the (Attorney General of the Republic) of having committed five crimes: coup, abolition of the Democratic Rule of Law, criminal association, qualified damage to public assets and deterioration of overturned heritage.

He closed one with the one in August 2023 and gave a dozen testimonials to the corporation and the Supreme in just over a year of investigation.
