The selection is in third place of the qualifiers, with 25 points. There are 16 games, with seven wins, four draws and five losses.
Chile, on the other hand, is the qualifying lantern, with only ten points earned. The team no longer has a chance to play the 2026 World Cup.

Carlo Ancelotti had to make a series of cuts in the initial call of the Brazilian team. Joelinton and Alex Sandro, Vanderson and Matheus Cunha left the list due to physical problems. With that, Vitinho, Jean Lucas and Samuel Lino were the calls.
