A 7 -year -old child was rescued at Hersheypark, Pennsylvania (USA), after being seen to walk alone on the high -six -meter -high park monorail carris. The incident occurred last Saturday (30) and generated moments of panic among visitors.
The monorail was closed, but in the images of the moment there are shouts of distress and attempts to guide the boy, who was confused before he was saved.
The rescue was made by a man, identified only by the green cap, who climbed a nearby structure, jumped to the rails and was able to reach the child, being applauded by the other visitors of the park.
This was my day at Hershey… the child had autism and was unsupervised when he made his way on the Amtrak . It wasn’t running that day and he started to walk it all the way down

According to the park administration, the boy had lost his parents around 5 pm and inadvertently entered into a restricted area. She was rescued without injury and reunited with her family about 20 minutes later. Hersheypark also reported that it will review its security protocols to prevent similar situations from repeating.
