A confusion marked the flight of Latam that departed from São Luís to Brasilia, on the afternoon of Monday (1/9), around 4:40 pm. Shouting, a woman tried to assault the Supreme Court Minister (STF) and former governor of Maranhão, Flávio Dinobut was contained by the security guard who accompanied him.
According to reports, the passenger stated that “does not respect this kind of people” and that “this plane is contaminated”, as well as questioning: “Where did communism work?”. Dino remained sitting down his head without responding to the provocations.
According to the minister’s staff, the woman shouted phrases like “Dino is here” in an attempt to incite rebellion on board. The chief flight attendant had to intervene, asking her to calm down.

A Federal Police agent entered the plane, talked to Dino and warned that the situation would be communicated to the PF Superintendence in Brasilia. The police also warned the passenger that flight demonstrations would be reported to the authorities.
After landing, the woman was taken to give testimony to the Federal Police. Before leaving the aircraft, he asked other passengers to witness to his advantage, comparing the situation to a supposed political “persecution”.
The episode happens a day before Flávio Dino participates in the trial of former President Jair Bolsonaro and seven other allies in the Supreme Court, accused of a coup attempt.
