Former employee reports “witch fighters” climate inside Poupex

“First it was an isolation of people. Especially because who was my friend was called by the committee. So people were scared and slowly moved away,” he recalls.

“The company allowed to be used by people for personal revenge, persecution,” he says. The former employee’s process is still being processed at the Regional Labor Court.

“This situation lasted about a year. They didn’t give me work anymore, they didn’t talk to me. I went into a depressive painting, I got fat. It was horrible,” he says.

“It is a very militarized culture, which leaves the environment divided by castes. At the table where an officer sits for lunch in the cafeteria, no one can sit even empty,” added the victim.

In procedural searches involving Poupex in the Federal District, it is possible to find other processes in which former employees claim to have been coerced to acquire the consortia of the company.

The TAC states that Poupex ensures free and worthy access to the bathrooms throughout the journey, without excessive time controls or prior authorization requirement to employees.

Creation – or improvement was also determined, if it already exists – of a Committee on Combating Bullying and Sexual Harassment, within 60 days. The group should be formed by qualified people, act with gender perspective and follow objective criteria for choice and operation.

Another discriminatory dismissal clause, especially in cases of pregnancy, advanced age, diseases, disabilities or chronic conditions of health. The institution must ensure equal treatment and avoid hostile environments that may press employees to dismiss.

According to the MPT, the values ​​will be reversed to a specific fund, intended for institutions of public interest or converted into donations of material goods to charity entities.

What does Poupex say

In a statement, Poupex said it is a pioneer to combat harassment and discrimination in the labor environment, with historical performance in preventive and corrective actions, including the existence of updated code of conduct, active ethics committee, ombudsman channel, organizational psychology and training and lectures with authorities on the subject.

“Poupex was also recognized, in 2024, with the seal to generate well-being, by the Brazilian Association of Quality of Life (ABQV). Its organizational climate research of that same year indicated satisfaction rate of 77.1%,” he said in a statement.

The text further stresses that the institution does not tolerate any practice related to bullying, sexual or discrimination and has been acting firmly and diligently to repress any behaviors of employees who do not fit the standard established in the Code of Conduct and other normatives.

“The TAC was signed including indemnity for collective moral damages, to be intended for entities for social purpose, which Poupex can also indicate, reaffirming the institution’s commitment to its social agenda, as well as in promoting a safe, ethical and respectful work environment,” he added.

Regarding the construction of a company that values ​​the well-being of the professional, Poupex said it offers gym, running club, work gymnastics, leisure and study space, equipped cafeteria, medical and psychological care, massage therapy, health insurance, telemedicine and telepsychology.

“Employees also have financial benefits, such as joint aid, food, meal, complement to sickness assistance, participation in results, supplementary pension and support for higher education. Extended licenses for fathers, health campaigns and monthly honors reinforce care for employees,” he added.
