The journalist, founder of Carta Capital magazine, died on Tuesday (2), at the age of 91. He had been hospitalized for two weeks at the ICU of, in Sao Paulo.
“A year ago, Mino was fighting health problems, in comings and goings of the hospital,” the Capital Carta said in a publication early Tuesday morning.
In addition to Carta Capital, founded in 1994, the journalist participated in the creations of the Quatro Rodas, Veja and Istoé magazines.

In 1951 he entered the Faculty of Law of USP (University of São Paulo), but did not complete the course.
At 27, by accepting an invitation from Victor Civita to direct the Quatro Rodas, from Editora Abril, he discovered his vocation to create and lead publications.
In addition to the magazines, he was part of the team that created Jornal da Tarde in 1966 and founded the Jornal da República in 1979, alongside.
