Cruzeiro has officially hired the 22 -year -old midfielder Ryan Guilherme as a third reinforcement in this transfer window. The player arrives from Fortaleza definitively, signing a valid contract until the end of 2029.
The new midfielder acts mainly as the first midfield man, a position today occupied by Lucas Romero. Walace, who arrived in the Raposa Toca in 2024, has been the main alternative, but has not yet been able to establish himself as a key piece in the cast.
Before hitting Cruzeiro, Ryan was close to defending the Royal Antwerp from Belgium, but negotiations with the European club were ended after changes in the proposal conditions.
Since then, the midfielder has normally trained in the Fortaleza CT, which should optimize the adaptation to the celestial team.

Trajectory of Ryan Guilherme
Born on December 7, 2002, Ryan Guilherme was revealed by Fortaleza, where he began training in the base categories. Despite the trajectory in the northeastern club, the steering wheel did not debut on the professional team.
The player accumulated tickets for other Brazilian teams through loans, including railroad workers, Boavista-RJ and Volta Redonda-RJ.

Negotiation of Ryan Guilherme with Cruzeiro
Ryan recently returned from a loan to União Leiria, from Portugal, but was not part of the plans of coach Renato Paiva in Fortaleza. With this, Cruzeiro identified a market opportunity and advanced in the negotiations.
With the investment of the Minas Gerais club, Fortaleza maintained 15% of the athlete’s economic rights, expecting a possible financial return in the future.
Conversations between the clubs began with the idea of a loan, but Fortaleza showed a preference for a definitive exit. The parties even discussed a temporary release, but the scenario changed last Friday (29).
