SCO: Ο Σι προωθεί το «αντιπαράδειγμα» της Δύσης και του Ντόναλντ Τραμπ

Its summit, including it, and its joint declaration, expressed its opposition to commercial coercion and condemned the attacks on its members.

It refers to the Joint Declaration apparently in an attempt to make it known their complete opposition to the US president’s trade duties.

Trump, Gaza, Kassmir and Iran had a place in the SCO’s public announcement

Recently, Trump doubled the duties in imports from India to 50% due to his oil transactions with Russia. Beijing is still negotiating with Washington, as both sides agreed in May on a temporary cessation of the … trade war.

According to a public announcement broadcast by the Chinese New China agency, the organization “strongly condemns actions that cause victims between civilians and a humanitarian disaster” in the Gaza Strip and calls for “complete and sustainable ceasefire.”

The 10 Member States condemned the terrorist attacks on the Kashmir -controlled India region on April 22, which claimed the lives of more than 30 people. There was a fierce battles between India and Pakistan in May.

According to reports, an excerpt about the conflict caused conflicts with the Indian side during the SCO defense ministers meeting. Pakistan is also a member of the organization.

SCO also strongly condemned US and Israel’s attacks on Iran’s nuclear facilities in June. Such aggressive actions against political objectives and nuclear energy infrastructure violate the rules of international law, it is said in the text of the Joint Declaration.

War in Ukraine was missing from it, rage from Kiev

Russia’s war against Ukraine does not even refer to the joint Declaration of SCO issued after the summit in the Chinese city of Tiandzin.

The Ukrainian Foreign Ministry, in a statement published on its website, criticized this option and, by posting the social media, said: “It is amazing that the largest aggressive war in Europe since World War II has not been reflected in such an important document.”

The summit was attended by the Heads of State and Government of Russia, China, India, Kazakhstan, Pakistan, Iran, Belarus, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan.

Warning for Snapback for Iran’s nuclear program

At the same time, SCO warned that there should be no “re -interpretation” of the UN resolution on the Iranian nuclear program, while Europeans are preparing to reinstate sanctions at the expense of Tehran.

SCO member states said that “any attempt at bad interpretation or arbitrary reintegration of this resolution will be in the UN Security Council”.

Iran’s Foreign Minister Abbas Aragsi, in a post on the X platform, said that his country, China and Russia signed a joint letter to the United Nations in which they denounce the “legally disastrous and politically destructive” attempt by Europeans to reintroduce them.

France, Britain and Germany, citing a condition included in the 2015 international agreement (the Snapback mechanism), have given Iran to 30 days to find a diplomatic solution on the issue, threatening that otherwise they would again impose sanctions approved by the UN.

It is particularly important that on the sidelines of the SCO Synod, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan met with his Iranian counterpart, Massoud Pezkian and said he believed it would be useful for Tehran to continue his nuclear negotiations. He added that Ankara would continue to support Iran on this issue.

According to the Turkish Presidency, Erdogan also said that cooperation between the two neighboring countries, in particular in the energy sector, would be beneficial for both sides.
