In the work of the tunnel -the construction should have in practice much more resources brought by the São Paulo sphere. The announcement for the work goes to auction next Friday (5), at B3.
The cost of R $ 5.1 billion is divided equally between Union and State, but São Paulo will play the annual consideration alone, which could reach R $ 438.3 million annually, paid in 24 years over the concession of 30 years.
The final value will depend on the discount offered by companies in the auction. This consideration is paid to the tunnel concessionaire, and what guarantees the financial balance of the contract.
The disbursement is made from the moment the tunnel goes into operation, which is expected to occur in 2030.
By the announcement, the State of São Paulo must make the deposit of its installment at the time of signing the contract, estimated to occur between three and four months after the auction. The Union will have up to 60 days to contribute its part.
The tunnel will be 1.5 km long, three tracks per direction, pedestrian passage and cyclists, as well as exclusive VLT track.
