For the British Labor party, a hot autumn follows a difficult summer. After Nigel Farage and his reform legal populists have driven the government of Premier Keir Strandmer in front of him in the asylum topic, pressure now comes from the left. On Tuesday, the Greens elected Zack Polanski as the new chairman with 84 percent. The self-proclaimed “Green Populist” wants to cooperate as Green Left with the previously nameless Labor spin-off of the left idol and former boss of the British Social Democrats Jeremy Corbyn. Polanski provocatively summarized his message to the government party: “We don’t want to be disappointed or worried from you, we want to replace you.”
