Brazil sovereign will be the central theme of the Civic-Military Parade of September 7, in next Sunday (7). The event starts at 9am at the Ministries Esplanade and will be attended by the president, as well as ministers and other authorities. The sovereignty of the country will be highlighted through three thematic axes, two of them entitled Brazil of Brazilians and Brazil of the future. A third axis deals with the 30th United Nations Conference on Climate Change () to be held in November and the new Growth Acceleration Program (PAC).
In addition, there is the traditional program of the Armed Forces troops, such as motorized and cavalry parades, the presentation of the human pyramid and the smoke squad and military honors.
Brazil sovereign is also the name of the plan launched by the federal government to support companies that are damaged by recent measures announced by the United States, to tax Brazilian exports by 50%.
For the parade of September 7, the public will be able to access the stands at the Esplanade of Ministries from 6:30 am, with installed magazine points. Items such as weapons, sharp objects, flammable substances, glass containers, fireworks, large backpacks, tents and drones without permission are prohibited.
Security is already reinforced in the region due to the trial, by the Supreme Court (), of the former president and other defendants, for attempted coup. For the parade, car traffic will be banned on Saturday afternoon (6). The mobile command of the Military Police of the Federal District will be present at the scene, on Sunday.
