The lawyer Matheus Milanezwhich acts in the defense of Augusto Heleno In the trial that can condemn him by joining the “core 1” of the organization of a coup plan, said on Wednesday (3), that the general’s agenda, used as proof in the investigation, was not a coup but a “memory support”.

The defense minimized the existence of the book and criticized that it was used as proof that Heleno used it to elaborate a blow.

“Agenda that is actually not agenda,” he said.

In mirroring one of the images of Heleno’s notes, Milanez said: “Here I bring another very curious explanation, which are other annotations of the judiciary, to show how this agenda was just a support from the memory of the general himself.”

“We started with an allegation of the Attorney General’s Office, questioned in court, Augusto Heleno confirmed that this agenda frequently used, I open, was in my hand almost always, where I wrote the things that were in my interest, closes quotes,” he explained.

The lawyer also criticized that, supposedly, the PF (Federal Police) would have put two pages “as if it were a logical chain of ideas”, but in fact “are 100 pages away from each other.”

“Let’s look at the excellence, which is curious, because the Federal Police places Figure 33, Figure 34, as if it were a logical chain of ideas. Look how curious. The pages, where is this list of guidelines, strategic and that question of whether the MJ has called the AGU, are 100 pages away from each other.”

In oral argument, in the course of the process, and in favor of the general.

Heleno served as Chief Minister of the GSI (Institutional Security Office of the Presidency of the Republic) throughout the Bolsonaro government (2019-2022).

After Milanez, Bolsonaro’s lawyers share the time of one hour to defend the former president.
