The Brazilian series with production by Andrea Barata Ribeiro and Fernando Meirelles has consolidated worldwide
PSSICA, miniseries that have the creation and script of Bráulio Mantovani (nominated for POR), Fernando Garrido and Stephanie Degreas, production of Andrea Barata Ribeiro, and co -production Cristina Abi, from O2 Filmes, reached the top 10 in several countries.
Showing a raw and cruel reality that happens in the northern region of Brazil, for the second consecutive week, the miniseries directed by Quico Meirelles and with an episode signed by Fernando Meirelles (City of God) remains at the global Top 3 of non-human-speaking series.
With 8.8 million views already accumulated, the miniseries also entered the top 10 of series (including all languages) in 68 countries, crossing continents and conquering Canada audiences to France, from Morocco to Mexico, passing through, Turkey, Chile and Argentina. The feat reaffirm the strength of Brazilian fiction in the radar of world entertainment.
The performance puts PSSICA in the select group of the most viewed Brazilian series outside the country. To this day, only DNA of the crime and a piece of me have reached the top 10 in more countries (74 and 73, respectively), reaffirming the global appetite by Brazilian narratives.
