The post office suspended on Tuesday (2) a contract of R $ 56.8 million signed with Berlin Finance, suspected of being a parallel bank of the CCP (first command of the capital).

The agreement was 2021 and had as its object the provision of card payment services. Payment operations have been suspended since Thursday (28), the day of the fuel sector and the financial system. The reason for the suspension was unavailability of the company’s system.

In a note, the post office confirmed the suspension. “Card payments have been suspended since Thursday (28), in the post office agencies, due to the unavailability of the system of the company responsible for the service,” they indicate.

The administrative proceeding is following the formal rite according to legal deadlines,” they continued. “Valuing the best customer service, the post office are adopting the necessary steps for the normalization of the service within the shortest possible time.”
