Deputy Michelle Melo (PDT) revealed during an interview with the podcast On the scenedo ContilNetwhich has already decided to leave the PDT and put itself as a pre-candidate for reelection in the Legislative Assembly of Acre (Aleac). She also commented on invitations received to dispute federal positions and the new party she wants to join.
“It is already defined, I am a pre-candidate for reelection. Even, I received an invitation from Mrs Tábata Amaral to be a candidate for federal, and also other invitations. But in my heart, I have a certain fear, because at federal level we debate very important laws, important destination of amendments, but this distances me a little from the people’s daily problem. I like to work the daily life.

Michelle explained that the decision to leave the PDT stems from internal disagreements, despite having already surpassed disagreements with the state direction.
“I’ve had my obstacles with the PDT state president, the tchê, but we have already made up. But today I don’t see myself anymore in the PDT board for a series of circumstances. We have some disagreements in the party tract and all this. So we are looking at the scenario, I can’t go to any party, because I don’t like to be established. Or extremely right, because extremism leaves the debate shallow and we need to debate to find intelligent solutions to our problems, ”he explained.
The deputy also stressed that he received several invitations to join other parties, but that the decision will be taken with caution, taking into account the electoral scenario and the party federations that may form.
“I have several invitations. Thank God people like our mandate. But it has not yet been decided because it is very early. We need to see how each one will position ourselves, the federations that will be built. We need to see the whole scenario and still have a lot of water to pass under this bridge,” he said.
