The drawback regime allows companies to buy, without tax payment, inputs necessary for the production of goods that will be exported in the future.

The measure is part of the Sovereign Brazil Plan, which encompasses a number of measures to reduce impacts on exporting companies after.

In a statement from MDIC (Ministry of Development, Industry, Commerce and Services), Alckmin ensures that “Drawback’s extension will prevent exporters from harm -damaged by taxes or fines in case they are unable to fulfill their obligations.”
