South Korean intelligence reveals the approximate figure of North Korean soldiers who would have died in Ukraine

The alliance between North Korea and Russia could be leaving a much larger blood trail than is pointed out and laughed from Moscow and Pyongyang. As everyone knows, for several months, Kim Jong-un regime is actively collaborating with Russia in the armed conflict on Ukrainian soil.

Well, this collaboration, in the form of arms exchange and military potential shared by Russia in exchange for North Korean men fighting for Russia in the front, would be leaving a number of deaths much higher than the statement by the Russian and North Korean authorities.

According to South Korean intelligence, the number of dead North Korean soldiers would be close to 2,000 and 4,700 injured, increasing that number substantially from the 600 that pointed a few weeks ago. These figures have been revealed by Seoul after an “thorough review” performed by their secret services.

The information came to light one day before the presence of Kim Jong-un in China on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the end of World War II, which as every year, coincides with a Chinese military parade in Beijing, to which many international leaders who were present at the OCS summit have been invited during the last weekend.

Remember that North Korea has sent a total of 13,000 troops and conventional weapons to Russia to fight Ukrainian troops. According to Russian reports, much of the dead died in the Kursk region, an area that Ukraine had recovered. But Pyongyang’s support will not stop here, and from Korea they argue that Kim Jong-un sends 6,000 more soldiers to Russia in the coming weeks or months.

Recently, Kim Jong-un could be seen addressing the families of the deceased, asking for forgiveness and extolling the lives of the fallen in combat. “The reality that we can now meet the noble figures only through the photographs on the commemorative wall, those who dedicated their precious lives for the great victory and glory, my heart hurts and it fills me with bitter pain,” Kim Jong-un said to the relatives of all of them.
