Actor Miguel Costa resorted to social networks to remember and honor André Marques, 40, a goalkeeper of the Glory Elevator who lost his life in the tragic accident of September 3 in Lisbon.
Miguel Costa shared a video of the interview that conducted André, about two years ago, to the program Alô Portugal, from SIC: “André. About two years ago, I was lucky to meet it, when generously and friendly agreed to talk to me, without any warning.
The derailment of the Glory Elevator occurred at 6:04 pm on Wednesday, resulting in 17 dead and 22 injured, five in serious condition. The injured were distributed by several hospitals in Lisbon, including São José, Santa Maria, São Francisco Xavier, Cascais and Amadora.
Carris also regretted the loss of the employee, recalling that André Marques had been in the company for 15 years and had distinguished by “loyalty and dedication”. In a statement, the carrier pointed out that André “performed its duties with excellence, excellently representing Carris in the history of the city” and that it was recognized as a “dedicated, kind, smiling and always willing professional to contribute to a greater good.”
