Do you dream of a magnificent hedge, but you don’t want to put on thuja, laurel or boxwood? If you intend to plant a less popular shrub on your plot, which is also easy to grow and impresses with colorful leaves, you can bet on a plant of the rosacea family.
It is about the beautiful hawthorn of Fraseria, which comes from East Asia, but also finds well in the Polish moderate climate. Hardly anyone decides to grow it, and is not demanding, impresses with her beauty, resistance to diseases and ease of care.

Głogownik is a beautiful decorative shrub, which is ideal as a hedge plant instead of a thuja. In our country, it is still rarely seen, and this is a big mistake, because it shows high resistance to fungal diseases and looks beautiful until late autumn, creating a thick compact green composition.
The biggest advantage is the appearance of the dawn, which is quite exotic. The plant has decorative colorful leaves, taking an intense red or orange color at the peak of the season. In older specimens they are dark green.

Before you plan the hawcker, choose the perfect place for him. It will be best to feel in a sunny or semi -shaded place. It is better not to choose too dark area, because then the leaves will not be so great.
The choice of substrate also matters. It should be fertile, indifferent or slightly acidic and necessarily properly drainedbecause this species does not tolerate water stagnation very well. Once you decide on a specific position, put seedlings in a hole twice as large as the root block.
