This Thursday (04/09), another trailer of the Game Football Manager 2026 was revealed by Sega and Sports Interactivemarking the return of the football team management simulator.
The starting announcement of the game took place on August 13, after a period of uncertainty, motivated by the cancellation of Football Manager 2025, which took the community by surprise, as there were expectations for a great reformulation of the series. THE Launch should take place between September and November, but there is no set date yet.
There are also no details about the platforms that will receive the game or prices.

The second trailer, released on Thursday (04/09), brings throws of gameplay, with great reformulation of the 3D mode of watching the match, with great graphic improvement compared to previous editions of the game.

Before, in August, a short trailer which has increased expectations, promising a more immersive experience with significant visual advances thanks to Unity. The 30 -second video offers a first glimpse of “Game Day” within the new title, displaying graphic improvements. Although it does not bring complete matches or final images, the material indicates an important leap in the visual part.

According to Sports Interactive, Football Manager 2026 will be a milestone for the franchise, described as a “new way of telling football stories.” The game promises more tactical control to the player and a completely reformulated interface, replacing the traditional inbox system with a card -inspired card panel. The news also includes women’s football, with a database containing more than 25,000 players and members of technical committees.
Why was Football Manager 2025 canceled?
The cancellation of FM 25 was a difficult decision for Sports Interactive, made after facing several developmental problems. The game, initially scheduled for November 2024, suffered successive postponements – first to a few weeks later, and later to March 2025 – due to challenges in the transition to the Unity engine and the attempt to implement bold resources, such as the full inclusion of women’s soccer.
After internal testing and players reviews, the studio concluded in February that the title did not reach the expected quality standard and decided to end the project, redirecting all efforts to FM 26.
