“Mr. Armani,” says the statement, “as he has always been called with respect and admiration for his employees and collaborators, he died in peace, surrounded by his loved ones. Relentlessly to the end, he worked to his last days, devoting himself to the company, collections and many projects in progress and futures.”
“Over the years, Giorgio Armani has built a vision that has expanded from fashion to all aspects of life, anticipating the times with extraordinary clarity and pragmatism. He was moved by relentless curiosity and deep attention to the present and people,” the statement adds.
