You’ve heard something from John Carpenter before. Monument status not only have his films like Dark Star (1974), Halloween (1978) or Big Trouble in Little China (1986), but also the associated soundtracks, often composed by himself. Between September 4 and October 16, the Filmmuseum in Vienna recognized the virtuosos of fantastic film with a show of its entire work. The standard reached him on the occasion of this via video call in Los Angeles – where he prefers to play video games than to make films.
