The intuition and courage of a father saved a 12 -year -old girl from potential sexual abuse in Bauru, Sao Paulo. Wilian Ribeiro, after leaving his son at school, distrusted a scene he saw on the street: a man walking suspiciously with a child. Instead of following the way, the car stopped and decided to intervene. Asking the girl, who began to cry, confronted the suspect.

Even though he was beaten, his action was crucial as he allowed the victim to escape and seek help in a nearby store, ending an imminent danger situation.

The suspect was accused of attempted minor sexual abuse and remains in custody after being presented to the judicial authorities on Tuesday.
