Flamengo striker Bruno Henrique was sentenced to a minimum penalty of 12 suspension games and R $ 60,000 by the Superior Sports Court (STJD), on a trial for sports manipulation, which lasted more than six hours on Thursday (4).

Why was Bruno Henrique denounced?
The Flamengo striker was investigated for handling results to benefit gamblers. In a game against Santos, valid for the 2023 Brasileirão, Bruno Henrique received a yellow card that raised the suspicions of betting houses.
After bets Warning the Brazilian justice, according to the protocol, the investigations began. Later, in messages obtained on the player’s brother’s cell phone, Wander Nunes Júnior, those involved concluded that Bruno Henrique could have forced the yellow card.
