Investigations indicate that the red-black athlete would have deliberately seeking a yellow card in the confrontation with the Santos team. He would have warned his brother who would receive the warning.

The PF (Federal Police) began the findings in November 2024, when performing a search and seizure operation. The investigators extracted conversations from Wander’s cell phone, Bruno Henrique’s brother, who served as the basis for the indictments against the striker.

The case was worsened when betting establishments detected suspicious bets specifically related to card receipt by the player in that match. According to investigations, the bets would have been made by the brother of the athlete, his wife, a cousin and friends.

The possible sanctions for the Flamengo player are:

  • Suspension that can reach 2 years;
  • accumulated feathers ranging from 360 to 720 days of removal;
  • Suspension of 12 to 24 matches;
  • In addition to 3 fines that can range from $ 100 to $ 100,000 each.
