The president of the, will receive this Thursday (4), at, a list of CEOs from the technology sector for a dinner and an artificial intelligence event (AI). Tesla, however, was left out of the list. “I was invited, but unfortunately I will not be able to go. A representative of mine will be there,” wrote Musk on X.
According to the White House, the guest list includes, from Microsoft, Tim Cook, Apple,, Goal, and several other AI and technology executives. Musk, who was once an ally of Trump and was in charge of commanding the Department of Government Efficiency (Doge), publicly broke with the Republican a few months ago.
The dinner will be held in Jardim das Rosas, where Trump recently paved the lawn and set up tables, chairs and umbrellas in a very similar arrangement to the Mar-Lago club in Palm Beach, Na.
“Rose Garden Club in the White House is the trendiest place in Washington, or perhaps in the world,” spokesman Davis Ingle said in a statement. “The president expects expecting the main business, political and technology leaders for this dinner and the many who will come in the new and beautiful courtyard of Jardim das Rosas.” The event will take place after the meeting of the New White House AI Education Task Force, which will be chaired by the first lady Melania Trump.
