There is really no lack of self -diagnoses by the political left. While Donald Trump dismantled the American constitutional state in the USA and right -wing populists win one choice after another in Europe, the forces on the left of the middle are once again looking for direction. Intellectuals overturn with explanations: too elitist, to urban, to Woke the left, the right is too much relentless – or too little.
