At least three minutes of bills that propose the amnesty those involved in the undemocratic acts of 8 January 2023. The trial will resume next Tuesday (9) in the first class.

One of these drafts proposes a wide, unrestricted and no deadline amnesty to end | Distribution/Marcelo Camargo/Agência Brasil
One of these drafts, to which the SBT report had access, proposes a broad, unrestricted amnesty and no deadline to end. By the text, the forgiveness would reach “to all those who, between March 14, 2019 and the date of entry into force of this Law, have been or are or eventually, may be investigated, processed or convicted” by different actions.
Among the transgressions cited are offenses and attacks on public institutions or their members, discredit to the electoral process or three powers, reinforcement of political polarization or generation of animosity in Brazilian society. All this, according to the draft, would be forgiven as soon as the text begins to be valid.
Also according to the sketch, in reference to attacks on January 8, those who provided “administrative, logistics or financial, stimulus or incentive” would be forgiven. In addition to those that caused “damage against the union’s assets, deterioration of listed patrimony, incitement to crime, apology of crime or criminal, criminal organization, criminal association or constitution of private militia.” Thus, direct and indirect participants of the attacks would be achieved by forgiveness.
Defended by the opposition, the proposal provides for the automatic removal of the effects of criminal convictions, the filing of inquiries, investigations and criminal proceedings ongoing. The text also cites forgiveness to political and electoral crimes, which could make way for Jair Bolsonaro – now ineligible by the Superior Electoral Court (TSE) – competes in next year’s elections.
AMINTISTA FUTURE
This Thursday (4), the leader of the liberal party in the House, Sostenes Cavalcante (PL), said that the president of the house, Hugo Motta (Republicans-PB), pledged to guide the amnesty after Bolsonaro’s trial. And that the discussion now revolves around the choice of the rapporteur of the matter, which will be a center parliamentarian. For Sostenes, an alternative amnesty, with feather reduction and without the inclusion of the former president, is not an option.
PDT leader in the House, Mario Heringer (MG), said that “it is absurd to think about it [anistia] Now. ”He called the proposal defended by the opposition of“ PL of impunity ”and admitted the possibility of discussing an optional proposal, such as the one being prepared by Senate President David Alcolumbre (Union-AP).
