Police are investigating an accident of a sports aircraft type Vírnik – Calidus, which happened on Thursday (4 September) at the local airport in Boleraz in the district of Trnava. The reason was the breaking of the nasal rotor – the upper propeller due to a wind virus. The Trnava Regional Police informed about it on the social network.
As she said, police patrols intervened on the spot that found that the swirl was led by a 56-year-old pilot from the Czech Republic. “According to the information found, during the agreed private flight, he was supposed to get a wind vortex under the propeller during the landing maneuver, leading to a breaking of the nasal rotor – the upper propeller”She said.
After the accident, the pilot left the plane separately and did not suffer any injuries. “The police have passed a breath test with a negative result with him. The air investigator came to the place to investigate the exact causes and circumstances of the air accident,” the police added.
