The transfer of the attacker was sealed in January 2025 to Zenit, in a negotiation that, according to reports from the press, revolved around 33 to 35 million euros (about $ 22 million). It was the biggest sale in the club’s history.
The negotiation, however, has broader contours. Within this greater agreement with Lyon, Luiz Henrique’s transfer to Zenit in January 2025 represented a significant portion, with sources indicating the value of 33 million euros as part of the global amount. Other reports point to an offer of 35 million euros made by Zenit to realize the purchase of the player.

When Luiz Henrique went to Botafogo?
Luiz Henrique’s hiring for Botafogo in early 2024 had been a milestone, costing the Rio club about 20 million euros, the largest purchase of the history of a Brazilian club at the time.
