Who is Lawrence Vigadoroux?
Lawrence Ian Vigouroux is a Chilean-English professional goalkeeper, born November 19, 1993, in Camden, London. Currently, he plays for Swansea City, EFL Championship club, the second division of English football
Vigourox began his training in the Brentford base categories and later Tottenham Hotspur. After a loan to Hyde, he moved to Liverpool in 2014, where he acted in the base teams.
During his passage at Swindon Town, initially on loan and then permanently, Vigadoroux stood out as an absolute holder, accumulating 86 matches and gaining recognition for his consistent performances.
After Swindon, he had stints at Waterford (Ireland), Everton de Viña del Mar (Chile), Leyton Orient and Burnley, where he worked for a season before moving to Swansea City in July 2024.

Vigadoroux has Chilean descent by his father and represented Chile in grassroots categories. In 2013, he was summoned to the under-20 team, but did not participate in the category World Cup. More recently, he was summoned to the main national team in the 2026 World Cup qualifiers, but has not yet debuted for the adult team.
In the 2024–25 season, Vigourox had a remarkable performance for Swansea City, keeping four consecutive games without a goal, something that has not happened at the club since 2008. He was also awarded the “Men’s Best Newcomer Award” at the end of the season.
