The Attorney General’s Office of São Paulo offered a complaint for embezzlement and criminal organization against expert Eduardo Tagliaferro, former advisor to the Minister of (Supreme Court), and 13 more people, including a Judge of the TJ-SP (Court of Justice of São Paulo).
The group had set up a scheme, according to the Attorney’s Office, to divert money under the indirect possession of Judge Peter Ekschmiedt, the 2nd Civil Court of Itapevi, in Greater São Paulo, resulting from not yet shared inheritances or the goods of incapable elderly.
In these proceedings, the judge determined blockages of assets based on collection actions generated from counterfeit securities, according to the investigation, to transfer the appeal to members of the organization – the defense denies conduct.
The complaint deals with three cases, which occurred in 2023, where there was an attempt to divert resources. In January 2024, however, when another judge temporarily assumed Eckschmiedt cases, the prosecutor was fired and reported the fact to the Civil Police.
Tagliaferro was the judge’s “close friend”, “with accurate knowledge of computer science and effective techniques for performing technological cleaning on data storage devices”, and would have been triggered by Ekschmiedt to guide the magistrate and another judiciary server to erase possible evidence of his cell phones, according to the Attorney’s Office.

Tagliaferro then tried to guide the judge to look for elements to invalidate the material as proof, arguing that the information could be edited, and to change his cell phone.
In August last year, the MP-SP (São Paulo Public Prosecutor) and the Military Police carried out an operation at the judge’s house and found R $ 1.7 million in banknotes in a attic.
The complaint of the case, dated August 8, is signed by the Attorney General, Paulo Sérgio de Oliveira and Costa, and the prosecutor Sérgio Turra Sobrane. The process is secret of justice.
Tagliaferro was head of the special advice to confront the disinformation of the (Superior Electoral Court) during the presidency of Moraes and, on Tuesday (2), participated in an audience in which he accused the former chief of bolsonist entrepreneurs for scammers messages in August 2022.

In a statement after the hearing, the STF minister denied irregularity, did not speak directly about the accusation of fraud, but said that all actions in this and other investigations were official, regular and informing the Attorney General’s Office.
Lawyers Paulo Hamilton Siqueira Junior and Paulo Herschander, who advocate Ekschmiedt, reported in a statement that they will speak only in the process because the case is confidential.
