The governor of São Paulo, Tarcísio de Freitas (Republicans), said on Friday, 5, that the financial market will provide the reduction of inequalities in the country, after the auction of the Paranapanema lot (expansion of the Raposo Tavares Highway) at B3 headquarters in São Paulo.
“We believe in private initiative as a driving force. We believe it is the private resource that will bring transformation. We believe it is the market that will provide the reduction of inequalities,” said Tarcisio. “The state itself would not realize this (investments). We have to make all the adjustments, be strict in the accounts.”
Potential candidate for the Presidency of the Republic next year, the governor pointed out that his management is “giving an example to Brazil”. And he stressed that he is “paying debts” from the past of São Paulo.
