Rapporteur of what may condemn a former president for an attempted coup, the Minister of the Supreme Court began to concentrate investigations related to the former president (PL) from the inquiry, when a procedural web that unfolds to this day has begun.
Moraes’s connection with the main case under discussion in the Supreme, when the then president of the Court, opened and delegated to him the rapporteur of an investigation into threats, virtual attacks and fake news against the ministers.
The investigation was the first used as an umbrella to keep under the rapporteur of cases related to suspicions involving attacks on institutions and dissemination of fraudulent information-which avoided the distribution of these processes among all ministers by raffle.

With one or secret justice, the existence of part of the inquiries can only be identified from citations made by Moraes, and by (Attorney General’s Office) in documents such as orders, reports and decisions.
The representation shows a complex scheme, with unknown branches. Even in cases today public, such as the so -called Abin Parallel, Moraes maintains documents under confidentiality through correlated processes instituted via “PET” -the court of the court for petition.
This investigation accused the creation of a criminal organization within the Brazilian Intelligence Agency to illegally monitor authorities.
In part of the cases, however, it is not possible to know even what the guiding thread is. In the Supreme, the processes that are in secret of justice have a lower degree of confidentiality, and some basic information is advertised. Already in the confidential processes very few information is public.
Despite criticism in 2019 to the fact that PGR was initially excluded from the process – and that they still persist between pockets and part of the legal world – the fake news survey gained strength with complaints that pointed to the Planalto Palace.
In 2021, crucial proceedings were opened and coupled: attacks by the former president to vaccination against Covid-19; one with false allegations about the electronic ballot boxes; the leakage of a PF inquiry on the same theme; and the act of which Bolsonaro threatened the Supreme Court and said that only.
In the final stretch of 2022, other cases that today make up the coup timeline pointed out by the PGR were added: the second round of the elections, the attempt to date (PT), and near Brasilia airport.
