Venice-The US director Jim Jarmusch has been awarded the Golden Lion of the Venice Film Festival for his film “Father Mother Sister Brother”. The jury announced this on Saturday evening. The film deals with the complex relationships between adult children and their parents in three episodes – and the speechlessness that often prevails. Among other things, Cate Blanchett, Tom Waits, Adam Driver, Charlotte Rampling and Vicky Krieps play.
