Israel asks the inhabitants of Ciudad de Gaza to move to a new “humanitarian zone” in Jan Yunis

The Israeli army has reported this morning of the creation of a new “humanitarian zone” in the Al-Mawasi area, located in Jan Younis, in the south of the Gaza Strip, and has asked the inhabitants of the city of Gaza to move to this area. Israel continues with military operations in the city of Gaza, which claims to control 40% after several weeks of attacks.

According to the military statement, the space will include basic infrastructure such as campaign hospitals, water pipes, desalination plants and food supply. Army spokesman Avichay Adraee has asked the Gazati population to move to that area. “They do not undergo Hamas’s claims. They take the opportunity to move to the humanitarian zone and join the thousands who have already moved there in recent days and weeks,” he said in a video published in his X account.
