President () and first lady, Rosângela Silva, A, published a video planting a cashew change in the Alvorada Palace, the president’s official residence.
“This is the legitimate sovereign cashew,” said Janja. The publication was made on Saturday (6), on the eve of the September 7 ceremony in which the president and other Brazilian authorities participate. “Brazil Sovereign” is the motto prepared by the government for this year’s celebration.
“Today, on the eve of September 7, we plant a cashew foot in the palace of Alvorada. Planting is believing in the future. It is taking care of the present to ensure a harvest that goes far beyond us. So it is also with Brazil: to sow hope to reap sovereignty and dignity for our people,” wrote the president’s account in the caption.
In the video, Lula jokes when he calls himself a “small farmer”, planting the seedling alongside Embrapa President Silvia Massruhá.
