The president of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, said Friday that if the country were attacked “It would go to an armed staging”in a context in which he denounces “threats” from the United States, which carries out a military deployment in Caribbean sea near the Venezuelan coasts.

Maduro indicated that Venezuela is “still in the unin -armed struggle phase, which is a political, communicational, institutional phase “but, he added, if “it was attacked, in some way, it would go to an armed, planned, organized staging stage of the entire people against aggression, whether local, regional or national.”
