Monza-Formula 1 world champion Max Verstappen has conquered the best starting place for the Grand Prix of Italy in Monza. The Dutchman completed a round of 1: 18.792 minutes in qualifying in the Red Bull and was thus in front of the favorite McLaren by Lando Norris and Oscar Piatri. “This is unbelievable,” wondered Verstappen himself. Behind the top three, the Ferrari of Charles Leclerc and Lewis Hamilton landed in a double pack on Saturday.
