Filo cake with spinach This is a golden and crunchy snack. There is a hidden in the middle of the rolls Filling with spinach with the addition of cream Ricotta cheese and salt feta. Do not forget to add onions, garlic and oregano to it, it will be even better. Such a dish will be perfect as a party snack, dinner with friends or an elegant family meeting.
To prepare this recipe, you will need:
- 1 pack of filo cake,
- melted butter for lubrication of layers (about 100 g),
- 1 egg.
Ingredients for stuffing:
- 250 g of fresh spinach,
- 1 onion,
- 2 cloves of garlic,
- 150 g Ricotta evening,
- 100 g Sera Feta,
- a pinch of nutmeg,
- a pinch of oregano,
- salt and pepper to taste,
- Oil for frying onions.
Wash the spinach, dry. Peel and chop the onion finely. Garlic squeeze through the press. Fry the spinach in a dry pan until it reduces its volume. Cool, then chop finely. Add a little oil to the same pan, fry the onion and garlic.
In a bowl, combine spinach, onions, ricotta and crushed feta. Add nutmeg, oregano, salt and pepper, mix thoroughly.
Expand the Filo cake flats, cover with a damp cloth so that they do not dry. Brush each sheet with thinly melted butter.
Along the long shore of the rectangle arrange the stuffing, only on half of the dough. Fold, thoroughly sticking to the dough. Divide them into rectangles with a sharp knife.
Brush the top with a beaten egg. Bake in an oven preheated to 190 ° C for 18-20 minutes until golden.
