Bolsonarists call an act for amnesty on September 7

Manifestation is organized by Pastor Silas Malafaia; guidelines include amnesty, justice and religious freedom and expression

The base of (PL) summoned supporters through social networks for an act this Sunday (7.Set.2025), at 15h, on Paulista Avenue, in São Paulo. The demonstration is organized by the pastor, who has already led other protests in support of the former president in the same place. To the Poder360he stated that guidelines include amnesty, justice and religious freedom and expression.

The date coincides with the Independence Holiday, to protest against the Judiciary and the Government of the President (PT).

In 2024, the September 7 demonstration brought together about 58,000 people in Paulista. Other protests were held this year. The most recent, on August 3, had, according to a survey of the Poder360.

The previous act, on June 29, brought together 16,400 supporters – the smallest public registered on Paulista Avenue.

It was also the 1st without the presence of Bolsonaro, who complied with precautionary measures, including night home collection and restriction of the use of social networks. At the time, Senator Flávio Bolsonaro made one with his father and placed him on the lively during the protest.

The indirect participation of the former president led to his on the next day, by determination of the minister, (Supreme Federal Court).
