On Friday, the European Court of Human Rights (ECHR) extended the temporary stopping stop for a delinquent man from Syria until September 25th – and now outbid FPÖ and ÖVP with criticism of the human rights court. According to the FPÖ general secretary Michael Schmeditz, this is “mutated into a protective power for foreign criminals”, according to his ÖVP counterpart Nico Marchetti, “Milestrieben from the asylum realities in the member states”.
